Summer Camp Scholarships
For those individual students that plan to attend a Team Camp, Officer Camp or Private Camp (at their school), that is presented by American Dance/Drill Team, are eligible to apply for a scholarship up to $100.00 per student, to offset the cost of their American Dance/Drill Team summer camp fees.
Not all applicants are awarded. If for any reason, the student has paid in full to ADTS for their camp, a check will be issued back to them, or to the school, in the amount of their scholarship.
Each applicant must write a 250 word (minimum) essay explaining why they are deserving to receive the scholarship, as well as their passion for dance and their future plans after high school.
Deadline for scholarship applications is May 15th. The applicant's team (or officers) must be currently pre-registered for camp (or have contract for private camp) before the scholarship can be considered. There is a limited number of scholarship money available so make sure to get scholarship essays in promptly with the required information. Directors of the recipients will be notified by May 15th. We cannot accept any submissions past the deadline.
