Contest Season 2021/2022 - COVID Coordination
Above you will find COVID Coordination information link that is a collaboration of all the major dance team companies. We all want to make sure that each of us are researching and preparing for a safe experience for all participants and spectators at our competitions. We hope and pray for 2022 to see the virus dissipate so that contest season will allow us to have in person events. However, we know that we will have to adhere to the guidelines and requests from the local host school district locations. We are optimistic that 2022 will provide us even better chances that the contests will be in person as well as
capacity limits will improve. We will make sure to update this page as we get new information.

American Dance ~ Virtual Halftime Showcase
After having over 100 teams participate this past October, we are excited to present the American Virtual Halftime Showcase competition again in October 2022! There were so many directors and teams that provided postive feedback for this opportunity. Each performance will receive written critiques, an award for their rating and an opportunityfor special awards sponsored by our "Business Friends".

SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Information for Spectators will be updated in late fall
 We are hopeful for spectator admission tickets to be sold on site this year.
If there are capacity restrictions again this season,
all spectators, no matter what age, will need to purchase a ticket
Spectators may be required to wear a mask or
face covering to enter the building if mandated by the Texas Education Agency

We are back at the University of North Texas in 2022!
March 25th • all Officer & Elite Events
(plus solos & duets--upon request)
March 26th • all Team, Solos, Ensembles Duets
We will likely split the day into two performance blocks:
Morning Block...Studios, Middle Schools, Elementary Schools
Afternoon/Evening Block....High Schools
This will be a huge help for dressing areas and less congestion in the hallways.

AMERICAN COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
We are back at the University of North Texas in 2022!
Colleges will compete in the early afternoon block of the day (2:00 to 4:00pm)
Marley Floor will be down for colleges (50' x 40')
Awards ceremony for colleges is at 5:00pm (please check final schedule for exact times)

What are my options if a contest is canceled?
REFUND POLICY: All cancellation/refund requests must be submitted in writing, even if you have notified
the office by phone. Requests must be dated at least 14 days in advance of the camp/contest.
Cancellations
that fall within the 14 days prior to the camp/contest will not be eligible for a full refund.
If for any reason there is a catastrophic situation beyond our control that requires the event to be
canceled, we will issue a full credit or refund for all entry fees.
Requests will be reviewed by the American Dance/Drill Team administration.
