Hello there
It has been a quiet week here. I am quite sure that most dance/drill teams are knee deep in football performances and school right now.
We are really excited about bringing the Kilgore
College Rangerettes to Central Texas next week for a feature performance
at the Scott and White Hospital Luncheon Fashion Show benefiting Children's Miracle Network. This
event will raise over $50,000 for this great children's charity. We have also invited over 300 area dance team members to watch the Rangerettes
rehearsal on Wednesday evening prior to the event. They will receive a commemorative
Rangerettes 60th anniversary calendar and American Dance/Drill Team® T-shirt for a $5 donation to Rangerette scholarships. They will have
the chance to visit with the Rangerettes to learn more about auditions. Also, tune in Sunday to the Dallas Cowboy's game as the Rangerettes will be
featured at halftime.
Beverly Skipper with Showtime International sent me a link to a great web
site for motivational quotes. Jim Rohn sends a weekly message upon request.
Below are a few of the inclusions for this week's message. To start your own subscription to Jim Rohn’s Weekly E-zine, send a message to
subscribe@jimrohn.com with JOIN in the subject line. Also, here is an AWESOME link with numerous links and resources for
dance: Danceronline.com.
We are one of the new links to their site!
Visit our newly updated web site!!! Summer Adoue Johansen is our new webmaster (and staff member). She has done an awesome job! By the first of
next week, she will have over 100+ new routines posted on our Video Routine

I hope that you continue to have a great week and as always, please keep
in touch!

EXPERIENCE
Take time to gather up the past so that you will be able to draw from your experiences and invest them in the future.
Don’t let the learning from your own experiences take too long. If you have been doing it wrong for the last ten years,
I would suggest that’s long enough!
Life is not just the passing of time. Life is the collection of experiences and their intensity.
It’s easy to carry the past as a burden instead of a school. It’s easy to let it overwhelm you instead of educate you.
Be like a sponge when it comes to each new experience. If you want to be able to express it well, you must first be able to
absorb it well.
I BELIEVE
by Brian Tracy
I believe every person has within themselves inexhaustible reserves of potential they have never even come close to
realizing.
I believe each person has far more intelligence than they have ever used.
I believe each person is more creative than he or she has ever imagined.
I believe the greatest achievements of your life lie ahead of you.
I believe the happiest moments of your life are yet to come.
I believe the greatest successes you will ever attain are still waiting for you on the road ahead.
And, I believe through learning and application of what you learn, you can solve any problem, overcome any obstacle and
achieve any goal that you can set for yourself.
"Walk away from the 97% crowd. Don't use their excuses. Take charge of your own life." Jim Rohn
