Our Weekly Message for October 15, 2003

Greetings special friends,

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love to put pumpkins around the yard in every nook and corner. The leaves turn into a beautiful display of colors and even soften the path of the walkways. The mornings are crisp and the steam rises up from my cup of coffee on the back porch. What a glorious time of year!

Here are some thoughts for the day from some great women:

The hardest years in life are those between ten and seventy.
-Helen Hayes (at 73)

Things are going to get a lot worse before they get worse.
-Lily Tomlin-

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry with your girlfriends.
-Laurie Kuslansky

Old age ain't no place for sissies.
-Bette Davis-

Whatever women must do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult.

-Charlotte Whitton-

Sometimes we have trouble prioritizing on what is most important in our lives. We tend to look at the short term for instant gratification instead of the long term for what will benefit not only us, but those around us. Below is a special passage called "The Most Important List." I hope that some of the lines hit home with you as they did with me.

Have a wonderful week, and, as always, please keep in touch.
