Our Weekly Message for January 8, 2003

Greetings to everyone for 2003!

I hope that you had a quality holiday time with your family and friends and ready to start 2003 filled with energy and excitement. It is going to be a great year!

This week is filled with activity as we set out for Houston and the Texas Dance Educators Convention. There will be well over 350 dance team directors, administrators and coaches there to learn more about improving our programs for students. We look forward to seeing many of you there.

This weekend kicks off the Texas Rockette Dance Experience at R.L. Turner HS and Dallas Power House of Dance. If you have not already registered for this weekend, you may do so at the door pending space availability as class size is limited. Find out information about other dates and locations and register online today!

Next week kicks off our 2003 Contest Season with more locations and dates to choose from for Regionals in addition to the largest National Championship in the country! Make sure to register online through the Director's Corner as soon as possible so that schedules will be to you in a timely manner.

Here are some thoughts for the day:

"If better is possible, then good is not enough." author unknown

"The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you had to give." Howard Cosell, Sports Broadcaster

"Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow." Ronald E. Osborn

As we approach the new year and think ahead about making it a successful year for our business, our family, our team, competitions and more, there are some simple ideas for success that Max Steingart has compiled below. It is a
short but powerful passage.

May you have a great week ahead as God has blessed most of the nation with warmth, and, as always, please keep in touch!

You Have The Power to Succeed
by Max Steingart

Nothing will happen by itself. It will all come your way once you understand that you have to make it come your way.

Life to a large extent is what you make of it. Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility. Choose the thoughts and actions that will lead you to success.

Nobody can do it for you. Only you can make it happen. You're the only one that has to live your life.

The day you take complete responsibility for yourself, the day you stop making any excuses, that's the day you start on the road to success.

You have the power to succeed at anything. The power to fulfill your dreams is within you.
